AfriLance Paylinks allows users to create shareable on-chain payment links/invoice for requesting stablecoin payments.

Each Paylink represents a payment request backed by a smart contract that securely holds and settles funds once payment is made.

Recipients can share the link or the qr code invoice across messaging platforms, email, or social networks, allowing anyone with a compatible wallet to open the link and complete the payment.

Paylinks removes the need to manually copy wallet addresses, reduces the risk of sending funds to the wrong address, and simplifies stablecoin payments for everyday use.

Paylinks currently supports stablecoin payments using USDC and USDT on Base and BNB Chain.

How Paylinks Work

  1. Create a Paylink

    The recipient generates a payment request specifying the token, amount, optional expiry, and a note.

  2. Share the Link or the invoice

    The Paylink can be shared through messaging apps, email, or social media.

  3. Payer Opens the Link or scan the QR code

    The payer opens the link or scan the QR code on the invoice and connects their wallet to complete the payment.

  4. Funds Are Locked in the Contract

    The smart contract securely receives the payment.

  5. Recipient Withdraws Funds

    The recipient can withdraw the funds from the contract once the payment is completed.
